Ross With Betsy
...Everybody Loves A Parade

On the Left is the Limited Edition of Ross With Betsy (#227809).
On the Right is the Exclusive Edition of Ross With Betsy (#227809-1V).
Below is the Canadian Exclusive Edition of Ross With Betsy (#2277809PO).

Limited Edition Vs. Exclusive Edition
Vs. Exclusive Edition Canadian

The Bearstone on the left is the 2002 Regular or Open Limited Edition.
It is in the retail stores now. It has the usual LE numbering on
the Understamp-- Month #xxxx.

From QVC is the Exclusive Edition of Ross With Betsy (right).
It is an issue of 3600. The numbering on the Understamp is
like that of a Premier Editions we have always seen, except
that it reads "Exclusive Edition #xxxx/3600."

Issued as an "Exclusive Edition" for Canada. Issued with Edition
Numbers and piece within edition (i.e., 1E/368). Available at
Canadian dealers now.** It has been reported that this one will
be the first Inter Global issue, soon to be released in the
United Kingdom (England).

The molds for all stones are exacly the same. The Paw Print is
placed the same. The coloration is the only difference between
the Limited Edition and the Exclusive Edition (QVC).

Highlighted the Differences:
The Stripes on the Shirt. The Color of the Beanie hat.
The Color of the Streamers in the handle bars of the tricycle.
In the Canadian version notice no flag and no USA on the wagon.
The wagon is also green instead of red.

Further Information:
The differences in these three Bearstones are listed above. There
are differences in the numbering on the Understamp, as noted.

You may be interested to note that the use of the term Exclusive
Edition in combination with the "V" in the Style # is not new.
We have recently seen this with the Bearstone #99792V Fern Woodsbeary.
However, it appears that the Style #227809-1V is unique because it
includes a dash along with the "V". And this is the first time we
have seen "Exclusive Edition" in a Canadian stone. We are wondering
if this Bearstone is released in the United Kingdom what changes
there will be on the Understamp.

If you would like to learn more about Premier Editions you can read
about them in the Bearstone Basics.

The Collector's Handbook, our exclusive online
publication, will have posted an extensive discussion of Style #s,
their variations and what they mean.
