You will notice that the dove is on the left-front of the base.
This is how the stone was originally produced. Then in the 2E
the dove was moved to the middle of the base.

It was previously thought that only the 1E of this Bearstone®
was produced with the dove on the left-front of the base by Grenville.
However, it is now known that the dove extends into the 2E to at least
piece number 1100*.
